What is Parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event, held every Saturday. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
Parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along.
It's a great way to challenge yourself each week and to monitor your improvement!

Where is it?
MATES is primarily based in Chelmsford, Essex so our local Parkrun is held at Central Park, every Saturday at 9:00am!
However, Parkrun is held at over 750 locations across the country! Search locally to see if there's one near you and if you would like to pop a message in our running club Strava, why not see if people from the MATES community in your area would like to run with you!
