MATES Running Club
Running is a brilliant kick start to your day!
One of the brilliant things about running is that it doesn't matter where you are in the world, we can all run together and share support and our goals all in one place... on the MATES Running Club Strava! (see below for more)
Whether you want to join us and have a run at Chelmsford Park Run, post in our Strava Running Club to see if anyone fancies a run in your area, or just share your goals, training or photos and get a great pat on the back from our community, MATES is there for YOU.

We are part of the CALM Running Collective!
Much like MATES FC, MATES Running Club are proud to be a part of CALMs Running Collective, using running to help prevent suicide and improve positive mental health.
CALM are the UKs leading suicide prevention charity who also provide great information and a phone help line.

Couch to 5k
MATES Running Club is for all abilities, some people can run ultra marathons, some like a nice jog. Some of us may have done no exercise for years!
The only goal at MATES is your own goal, of what suits you and what suits your ability.

If this is something you are interested in, why not pop a message in the MATES Strava Running Club to see if anyone else fancies doing this with you, or pop a post in the MATES Strava Running Club to let us know what you are doing so our running community can support and encourage you on your journey.

Strava is a social fitness platform with more than 100 million users in 195 countries worldwide, used to record over 30 types of activities with features to help you explore, connect and measure your progress.
This is great little community that doesn't matter where in the world you are or if you are physically not near one of our events but still allows us to support each other, even without meeting.
This is great, especially for people with anxiety.
